The annual Serpentine Pavilion visit

Friday, 31st July 2009

A large cloud with vertical columns of rain?
Crawford and Gray went to see this years Serpentine pavilion in Hyde Park, designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa.

The pavilion is a large undulating floating canopy, made from plywood coated in sheets of aluminium. The canopy sits on delicate columns of varying positions and diameters.
Seamless edges of the canopy disappear into the surrounding landscape

Enrico, Louise and Margherita looking at the reflective qualities of the canopy...

and Peter too!

The team shot!
