A sip of Port

In case you were wondering where the funny door on the first post comes from: it is one of the amazing details of Casa da Musica, the new auditorium of Porto. We spent a long weekend in Porto last Autumn and fell in love with a city that is a never ending source of inspiration. Casa da Musica, by Dutch architects OMA, is just the newest gem in a panorama of oustanding architecture spanning from the Middle Age to the present times.
A view of Porto and the Douro river.

Visiting a few of the many building designed by Alvaro Siza in Porto was like attending an amazing master class in architecture and construction.

Strolling around the town and walking down to the river we could not stop clicking on our little digital cameras.
